Origin & Settlement of Oto-Awori in Lagos State

The miracle of the great and noble people of Oto-Awori Land in the extreme South West of the cradle of Yoruba race. Ile-Ife is its survival. A number of selected cognomen phrase and popular antique slogan “Oto-Awori/Iba Ile Omo”, “Omo Ajaye”, “Omo-Ode” and “Ijaliki laagbe Oto-Awori” (i.e. Ijanikin, a suburb within Oto-Awori vicinity) and indisputable testimonies to corroborate the fact that the most friendly and very accommodating people of Oto-Awori have from inception shared a common boundary with thier blood brothers from Iba Land.
